And My Pick of the Week: ROBIN!!!
This week had some great Batman goodies. Batwoman continues its creative and interesting post-Crisis storytelling on the CW. James Tynion IV’s Batman run is shaping up to be on par with Scott Snyder’s legendary run. And Tynion also lands a great ending (leading back into Snyder’s next DC epic crisis) with Hell Arisen. The Robin anniversary special was easily the best comic of the week, if not year so far. So great to see all of the Robins again and it was even cooler to see living legends like Chuck Dixon, Marv Wolfman, and Devin Grayson writing the Boy Wonder once more. If you haven’t yet done so, do yourself a favor and grab a copy. And, with any luck, we’ll get another ongoing Robin series sooner rather than later!
