Baturday: Convergence Week 6

Baturday

Week six of Convergence had no “surprise” releases from DC Comics, but we did get a fun direct-to-DVD release of a (potential) new franchise of animated Batman movies.  The folks from Zero Hour fought some of the fan-favorites from Wildstorm and a couple of legends from Kingdom Come, and it was another fun week that served as both a trip down memory lane and a potential reason to dig up all of those great back issues that we all have stored away with care.  Here’s my reviews of this week’s releases:

Convergence #6 – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Aquaman #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 5/5

Convergence: Batman: Shadow of the Bat #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Green Arrow #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 3/5

Convergence: Green Lantern/Parallax #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Suicide Squad #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 5/5

Convergence: Justice League International #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Supergirl Matrix #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 3/5

Convergence: Superboy #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Superman: Man of Steel #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Convergence: Catwoman #2 (of 2) – My Rating: 4/5

Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts – My Rating: 4/5

…and my pick of the week is…  CONVERGENCE: SUICIDE SQUAD!!!

So there you have it.  This week’s releases, as rated by Comic Booked’s own resident DC fanatic.  What was your favorite book this week?  Let us know in the comments section below.  And we’ll see you here next week for a brand new installment of Baturday!
