Cleveland’s Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds hosted a one-day Cleveland Film and Comic Con, bringing together horror, anime, comic, film fans and a host of other genres under one roof. The small group of fans who worked hard creating this event are from all over the country – Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and North Carolina .
All coordinators now currently claim status as Cleveland area inhabitants and found they shared mutual interests with each other. Gathering their experience they merged and morphed into a cohesive unit, managing the delicate creation of a very successful comic convention destined to burgeon into something bigger, better and leap beyond all expectations in the future. 2015 was the 3rd Annual Cleveland Comic Con event and was even more incredible than anticipated!
The audience attendance for the children’s and adults costume contest was amazingly vibrant, enhancing the contest experience while providing motivation to contestants. Convention cosplay ranked 3.8 out of 5 at the convention – great score for such a new comic con!
Many genres were represented and rightly so, as Cleveland Comic Con’s desire is to provide a safe location for attendees to experience fun and excitement cosplaying any brand of costume. An amazingly informative and heavily attended Cosplay 101 panel for those new to cosplay, was conducted by uber talented cosplayers Knightmage & Lady Devann!
Keep October in mind for next years Cleveland Comic Con, it is going to be cosplay heavy, comicly amazing and you absolutely don’t want to miss it!
