Howdy loyal Comic Booked readers and welcome to this action packed exclusive! Join us as we delve into the vaults of the UK’s largest indie publisher Markosia Enterprises. We explore what plans they have in store for their appearance at the biggest and best UK comic convention, the London Super Comic Con. You will find out what exclusive books they are launching along with reviews, creator interviews and Comic Booked exclusive art previews.
Markosia is offering two LSCC exclusive titles, so let’s jump straight in and look at them. The first is called Toxic Storm – written by Adam Cheal with art from the sensational Renzo Rodriguez. The book is a straight up 80’s style action horror with supernatural and crime elements. The other title is a very British style horror set during Victorian times called Terminus at Fenton’s Green. This book was also written by Adam Cheal and features artwork by up and coming British star Russ Leach.
Each of the two titles will have a super limited edition LSCC hardcover edition printed just for the show and it will also be the first time the printed books will be on sale to the public. Each hardcover will be limited to only 100 copies and should prove to be a real collectors item. Along with the books, Markosia are also having original art prize giveaways, A4 prints, bookmarks, postcards and even FREE graphic novel giveaways with the purchase of these titles. With everything on offer, this could well be one of the most fan based book launches and one you wouldn’t want to miss.
A late addition to this line up of Exclusives is a 12” oversized version of the Markosia book Apollo by Erik Von Wodtke and Douglas A. Sirois. The book is a graphic novel of classic Greek mythology, uniquely re-imagined within the H.P. Lovecraft Cthulhu Mythos universe.
