Today may be Black Friday, but it is an awesome day for all of us Star Wars fans as we don’t have to fight any little old ladies for the biggest deal of the year. The first official trailer has been released for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Take a look.

I got a chill from start to finish. There is a strong sense of foreboding and mystery about the whole thing, which is part of what I liked about it. The glimpses of the special effects, like the X-wings skimming the water, were amazing and everything I would expect from a Star Wars film.
There are still a ton of questions. Who is the hooded figure walking through the snowy woods? Is that Luke? If so, he has a truly badass new lightsaber. Who is the girl on the speeder thing? That is definitely Daisy Ridley, but is she the daughter of Han and Leia? Or someone else? Looks like Tatooine, all barren and sandy. And I thought the speeder really sounded like a pod-racer.
To wrap things up, how many of you got that crazy feeling in the pit of your stomach when the Millenium Falcon came swooping in and the Star Wars theme music began to play? ME! For a teaser trailer, this was awesome. Tease me more J.J.!!!! Sorry, that sounded dirty.
