My Pick of the Month for January 2019:
- REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN!!!
To be fair, The DC Universe animated movie (which I can’t wait to own on DVD) was destined for this top spot from the very first trailer. Superboy and Cyborg-Superman brought me to DC and to see them done in such a nuanced yet respectfully throwbacktastic way made it such an enjoyable watch. Action Comics, Superman, and Adventures of the Super Sons continue to lead the pack of the comic book versions of the Man of Steel’s adventures on the newsstands.
