..and my pick of the month is…  ACTION COMICS!!!

I’m just going to say it.  Dan Jurgens is my favorite writer.  The guy brought me to comics in the 1990s when he killed Superman and forever changed my worldview.  I was a kid when I first started reading comics and every single time I pick up Action Comics, I feel like a kid again.  Very rarely can I say that I am genuinely experiencing every single emotion when I read a bi-weekly comic book, but Jurgens takes me there with every page.  So in order to avoid a love letter here on my column, I’m just going to say that Rebirth was amazing and this new storyline delivered on just about every promise that the Superman creative teams have built up over the last year-or-so.  Pick them up and love them like I do.  It’ll be easy and you owe it to yourself.  There’s a lot of crap on the stands right now and on TV, but DC’s really knocking it out of the park with just about every product they are putting out these days.  See you next month for another installment of SuperSunday!  In the meantime, let’s chat in the comments or on social media.  I’d love to hear your thoughts.
