SuperSunday: 1/22/17 in Superman

SuperSunday

Happy SuperSunday, Superman fans!  Welcome to what is quickly becoming my favorite weekly thing to write about here at Comic Booked.  I’ve always been a Batman fanatic, but it was Superman that first got me into comics.  And it’s so refreshing and exciting to see him handled so well in comics again.  It’s been far too long since he’s been consistently portrayed.  Here are my thoughts on this week’s Superman-related releases:

Super Powers #3 (of 6) – My Rating: 4/5

Aquaman #15 – My Rating: 4/5

Justice League #13 – My Rating: 4.5/5

Justice League of America The Ray Rebirth #1 (One-Shot) – My Rating: 5/5

Justice League Vs Suicide Squad #5 (of 6) – My Rating: 5/5

Superman #15 – My Rating: 5/5

Trinity #5 – My Rating: 5/5

…and my pick of the week is…  SUPERMAN!!!

There you go.  Pick up all of the main Superman books.  They’re all great.  I’m excited to see how Justice League Vs Suicide Squad wraps up and the ramifications it has on the entire DC universe.  And it’s always fun to see Lobo get angry.  He’s like a funny alien Wolverine.  Can’t wait for the return of Supergirl this season and pumped to see where the Man of Steel and company go next in the comics.  What are your thoughts of this new (old?) direction?  Let us know and we’ll see you back here next weekend for a brand new thrilling installment of SuperSunday!
