Sad news for the MCU and the world yesterday amid news that actor Chadwick Boseman had passed after battling colon cancer. The 43-year-old actor had been diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and had still managed to battle his way onto the big screen and into our hearts through multiple films and many iconic rolls.
Boseman is probably best know for his portrayal of Jackie Robinson in the film “42”, but comic book fans will remember him as King T’Challa, the Black Panther. Showing up in “Captain America: Civil War”, “Black Panther”, and “Avengers: Endgame”, Boseman had proven himself to be the true king of Wakanda. I know that I was looking forward to what the story would be for “Black Panther 2”, so we will have to see what the future holds without this great actor.
Not just a great actor, but a great man. You can read more in this awesome article from our friends over at Variety.
