Baturday: Batman for 3/28/2020

Baturday

Happy Baturday! And welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column! Each major Batman-related release is listed at the end of each and every week and the comics, shows, graphic novels, movies, events, etc. you CANNOT MISS are listed in bold. After this week, Baturday will be going to a monthly format until Diamond continues shipping comics more regularly again. That being said, let’s act like everything’s still normal for a few seconds and jump into the good stuff! Here are this week’s releases:

  • Action Comics #1,021
  • Batgirl #45
  • Batman Beyond #42
  • Batman: Curse of the White Knight #8 (of 8)
  • Batman/Superman #8
  • Detective Comics #1,021
  • Red Hood: Outlaw #44
  • Suicide Squad #4
  • Supergirl #40
  • CW: Batwoman
  • DC Universe: All Star Games
  • DC Universe: DC Daily

And My Pick of the Week: DETECTIVE COMICS!!!

This week had some great Batman goodies. Peter J. Tomasi is finally getting to finish the story he started back during the New 52 Batman and Robin run that, in my opinion, is the best Two-Face story ever written. Detective Comics is amazing (as is the main Batman title) and you should be catching up during this temporary halt in shipments. Red Hood: Outlaw, Batman/Superman, Batman Beyond, and Batman: Curse of the White Knight are also all great reads from this week. It might have been the last new comics week for a while (hopefully not too long, though), but man was it a great week to go out on. But what are your thoughts on this week’s Batman-related releases? Hit me up on Twitter at jeffhillwriter and let’s get the debate going. See you next Baturday!
