Baturday: Batman in the First Week of March 2021

Welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday!  Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the first week of March.  Here’s a list of all the Batman-related releases from this week:

  • Batman #106
  • Crime Syndicate #1 (of 6)
  • Infinite Frontier #0
  • Man-Bat #2 (of 5)
  • Suicide Squad #1
  • Batwoman on CW
  • Black Lightning on CW

And my pick of the week is:

So there you have it.  Scarecrow is actually scary again and Damian carves out his own path in the pages of Batman.  The Crime Syndicate ramps up the evil in the premiere issue of their own miniseries.  And Amanda Waller is tired of losing the war, so she sets up what looks like her strongest (and strangest) Suicide Squad in years.  And then there’s that whole Infinite Frontier launch… which is everything DC is known for: action, intrigue, suspense, mystery, fantastic art and writing, and a ton of hope.  I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was yet another solid release week for the Bat family of books.  Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing.  We’d love to hear from you on social media.  See you next Baturday!
