Baturday: Batman in the Fourth Week of December 2020

Hello there, Batman fans!  And welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday!  Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the fourth week of December.  Here’s what came out this week:

  • Batman Beyond #50
  • Batman/Superman #15
  • Batman: White Knight Presents: Harley Quinn #3
  • Black Adam: Endless Winter #1 (One-Shot)
  • Dark Nights: Death Metal: The Secret Origin #1 (One-Shot)
  • Detective Comics #1033
  • Justice League Dark #29
  • Red Hood #52
  • Wonder Woman #769
  • Wonder Woman 1984 Film

And my pick of the week is:

  • DETECTIVE COMICS!!!

So there you have it.  Endless Winter and Death Metal race toward their respective epic finales.  Max Lord steals the show in the pages on the screens for a Wonder Woman double-release.  Batman Beyond comes to a satisfying (for now) ending, showing that Dan Jurgens still knows how to stick a landing.  And Peter J. Tomasi and Brad Walker give us a fantastic Detective Comics changing-of-the-guard issue to end their amazing run.  I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was yet another solid release week for the Bat family of books.  Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing.  We’d love to hear from you on social media.  See you next Baturday!
