Baturday

Welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday, where we celebrate all things Dark Knight!  Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the fourth week of May.  Here’s a list of all the Batman-related releases from this week:

  • Action Comics #1031
  • Batman: Black and White #6 (of 6)
  • Batman/Superman #18
  • Detective Comics #1036
  • Harley Quinn #3
  • The Other History of the DC Universe #4
  • Robin #2
  • RWBY/Justice League #2
  • Stargirl Spring Break Special #1 (One-Shot)
  • Teen Titans Academy #3
  • Black Lightning on CW
  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on CW

And my pick of the week is:

  • ROBIN!!!

So there you have it.  Tons of great opportunities to check out all things Batman this week.  Joshua Williamson and Gleb Melnikov continue creating a modern masterpiece and giving me a trip down nostalgia avenue with their new Robin book.  Detective Comics and Action Comics give us great main features, but really shine in their backup features’ stars.  The Other History of the DC Universe gives us a glimpse into the life of Renee Montoya (one of my favorite unsung heroes of DC.  And the Stargirl and Teen Titans Academy books are fun for readers of all generations.  And Black Lightning comes to a satisfying conclusion on the CW.  Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing.  We’d love to hear from you on social media.  See you next Baturday!
