Hello there, Batman fans! And welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday! Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the fourth week of November. Here’s what came out this week:
- Batman Beyond #49
- Batman/Superman #14
- Batman: White Knight Presents Harley Quinn #2
- Dark Nights: Death Metal: The Multiverse Who Laughs #1 (One-Shot)
- Detective Comics #1031
- Justice League Dark #28
- The Other History of the DC Universe #1
- Red Hood #51
- Suicide Squad #11
- Wonder Woman #767
And my pick of the week is:
- DETECTIVE COMICS!!!
So there you have it. The Other History of the DC Universe and the Harley Quinn White Knight spin-off continue DC’s successful Black Label release schedule. Dan Jurgens delivers all-out action in the penultimate issue of Batman Beyond. Tom Taylor gives us a fantastic Harley-centric character moment in the pages of his final Suicide Squad issue. The dark multiverse gets even darker in the newest Death Metal one-shot. And Peter Tomasi continues his legacy as one of the best Batman writers of all time with his shocking cliffhanger in the pages of Detective Comics. I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was yet another solid release week for the Bat family of books. Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing. We’d love to hear from you on social media. See you next Baturday!
