Welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday, where we celebrate all things Dark Knight! Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the third week of May. Here’s a list of all the Batman-related releases from this week:
- Batman/Fortnite: Zeropoint #3
- Catwoman #31
- Justice League #61
- Legends of the Dark Knight #1
- Nightwing #80
- Truth & Justice #4
- Batwoman on CW
- Black Lightning on CW
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on CW
And my pick of the week is:
- NIGHTWING!!!
So there you have it. Tons of great opportunities to check out all things Batman this week. Nightwing leads the pack for being the “most fun read” of the week, for sure. But Truth & Justice gives us a dark Red Hood tale and Catwoman and Justice League continue to be solid monthly reads for fans of capers and team books respectively. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with the Fortnite craze, but it’s super fun (especially with that Jim Lee variant cover). I’m a big fan of the return of LODK because it’s a title that should never have ended back in the day. And I don’t know about you, but the CW certainly picked up in terms of drama this week on all of their DC shows. Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing. We’d love to hear from you on social media. See you next Baturday!
