So there you have it, folks. Tons of fantastic releases this week. The Joker spin-off miniseries proves that Matthew Rosenberg should get the chance to write the ongoing when this series ends. Crime Syndicate wraps up nicely, or rather, quite evilly, but still a good time. And both Justice League and the animated universe continuation comic give us plenty of good guy action. The Suicide Squad debuted in theaters and on HBO Max and is a lot of fun, but the true winners of the week are the Squad comic books, of which there are plenty (not to mention the great variant covers promoting the film), including but not limited to The Swamp Thing, Suicide Squad, and my pick of the week featuring Brian Azzarello and Alex Maleev bringing their A-game, Get Joker!
