Baturday: Batman in Week 1 of November 2021

Hello!  And welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday!  This is the place we talk about all things Batman.  If you haven’t done so yet, make sure you check out last week’s releases before you dive into what came out this week.  We talk about news and spoilers here, too.  So be warned!  Here’s the list of all the Batman-related stuff DC put out in the first week of November 2021, with our newly-added BUY & WATCH labels for the must-haves:

  • Arkham City: The Order of the World #2 (of 6)
  • Batman #116
  • Batman: The Adventures Continue: Season Two #6
  • Batman: Reptilian #5 – BUY
  • Batman/Superman: The Authority Special #1 (One-Shot)
  • Dark Knights of Steel #1 (of 12)
  • The Human Target #1 (of 12)
  • The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox #4 – BUY
  • Justice League Infinity #5 – BUY
  • Batwoman on CW
  • Young Justice on HBO Max – WATCH

And my pick of the week is…  THE JOKER PRESENTS: A PUZZLEBOX!!!

So there you have it, folks.  The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox is further proof that Matthew Rosenberg is the heir apparent to James Tynion IV for the main Joker title (and maybe, just maybe, the big Bat book down the line).  Justice League Infinity is so much fun for all ages.  And Batman: Reptilian is Garth Ennis at his weirdest, which is fantastic.  Not to mention just how good Young Justice is on HBO Max.  But what did you think about this week’s Batman-related comics?  Let us know on social media and let’s keep the conversation going.  See you next Baturday!
