Hello there, Batman fans! And welcome back to Comic Booked’s longest-running column, Baturday! There were a bunch of great announcements from this year’s SDCC at Home event. Make sure you check out the last edition before you read all about the fifth week of July. Here’s what came out this week:
- Batman/Superman #10
- DC Cybernetic Summer Spec. #1 (One-Shot)
- Red Hood: Outlaw #47
- Suicide Squad #7
- Wonder Woman #759
- DC Universe / CW — Stargirl
And my pick of the week is:
- WONDER WOMAN!
So there you have it. It was sort of a “filler” week, what with it being a five Wednesday month and all. But I have to say, the teaser for Maxwell Lord’s return in the pages of Wonder Woman has me super pumped (not to mention the fact that it’s the best Diana’s been in years). I’m also a sucker for those big anthology specials, and this one had a great Midnighter and Apollo story from Steve Orlando, one of the best writers currently putting out work. And Red Hood is continuing to be an enjoyable monthly read from Scott Lobdell. I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was yet another solid release week for the Bat family of books. Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing. We’d love to hear from you on social media. See you next Baturday!
