- DC Universe / CW — Stargirl
- DC Universe — DC Daily
- DC Universe — Harley Quinn
And my pick of the week is:
- BATMAN!
So there you have it. The Joker War is almost here and James Tynion IV’s the best guy to get us there and through it all. His Joker is terrifying (has been since he was doing backup stories for Scott Snyder during the New 52 era). Suicide Squad gave us a genuinely funny issue with Batman chasing down the Squad and reluctantly teaming up with Deadshot. Stargirl continues its upward trend of “best CW/DC Universe” show. There was a genuine shock and awe moment at the end of the new issue of Teen Titans. Harley Quinn and the Joker both got their Black Label treatment turned up a notch with a one-shot and a second issue of a miniseries that are both proving the multiverse is alive and well. Then there’s that super cool Michael Keaton returning as Batman movie-related news. And Harley Quinn gave us a great season (maybe series?) finale. I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was yet another solid release week for the Bat family of books. Let us know what you missed, what you’re looking forward to, and how you’re doing. We’d love to hear from you on social media. See you next Baturday!
