Baturday

Welcome back to everyone’s favorite Batman-themed column here on Comic Booked, Baturday! The fourth and final week of September was full of great stuff. Here’s my take on this week’s releases:

  • Action Comics #1,015 – 5/5
  • Batgirl #39 – 3.5/5
  • Batman Beyond #36 – 4/5
  • Batman: Curse of the White Knight #3 – 4.5/5
  • Batman / Superman #2 – 5/5
  • Detective Comics #1,012 – 5/5
  • Harleen #1 (of 3) – 5/5
  • Justice League Dark #15 – 4/5
  • Red Hood and the Outlaws #38 – 4.5/5
  • DC Universe: DC Daily – 3/5
  • DC Universe: Titans – 5/5

My pick of the week: DETECTIVE COMICS!!!

So there you have it. Lots of great stuff going on in Batman-related books and other media. Tons of great news, previews, and upcoming releases as well. But you all know that. Tomasi continues to be the best at the top of the Batman writer food chain. Titans gives us Deathstroke’s first kill. Black Label’s newest interpretation of Harley Quinn is fascinating. The Batman Who Laughs recruits some more heroes into his own league. And the Leviathan saga heats up. But what are your thoughts? What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming weeks and months? Let us know on social media and we’ll continue the conversation there. See you back here next week for another installment of Baturday!
