Baturday: Gotham heats up and annuals arrive

First and foremost, Batman fans, let’s talk about that ending to this week’s episode of Gotham.  I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the death of you-know-who, what that means for the future of Gotham actually being canon, and the whole Jerome (I refuse to call him the Joker… yet) being slowly-but-surely a stage-stealer.  Okay.  There’s that.  Did you see that neat little interview with Steve Orlando about the industry and Midnighter?  Well check it out, already!  Now let’s focus on the reviews of the releases for the week, which was small, but a bit pricey.

Gotham 2.2: “Knock Knock” – My Rating: 4.5/5

Grayson Ann. #2 – My Rating: 5/5

Batman Ann. #4 – My Rating: 4/5

New Suicide Squad Ann. #1 – My Rating: 4/5

Justice League #44 – My Rating: 5/5

…and my pick of the week is…  JUSTICE LEAGUE!!!

So there you have it.  Some good books and a really well done episode that may or may not cause some grief with lifelong Batman fans.  What do you think?  Let us know in the comments section below and be sure to check back in next weekend for a brand new Baturday!
