Baturday

Welcome back to everyone’s favorite Batman-themed column here on Comic Booked, Baturday! The second week of September was full of great stuff. Here’s my take on this week’s releases:

  • Batman #78 – 5/5
  • Batman and the Outsiders #5 – 3.5/5
  • Catwoman #15 – 4/5
  • Detective Comics #1,011 – 5/5
  • Event Leviathan #4 (of 6) – 5/5
  • Gotham City Monsters #1 (of 6) – 4/5
  • Justice League Odyssey #13 – 4/5
  • The Riddler: Year of the Villain #1 (One-Shot) – 3.5/5
  • Young Justice #8 – 5/5
  • DC Universe: DC Daily – 3/5
  • DC Universe: Titans – 5/5

My pick of the week: TITANS!!!

So there you have it. Lots of great stuff going on in Batman-related books and other media. Tons of great news, previews, and upcoming releases as well. But you all know that. Titans season two continues strong (with a super cool portrayal of Batman that we’ve never seen before). Batman and Catwoman head back to the City of Bane. Young Justice is all about nostalgia in all the right ways. And Event Leviathan ramps up the intensity with the world’s greatest detectives and the shambles of the world’s greatest spies. But what are your thoughts? What are you most looking forward to in the upcoming weeks and months? Let us know on social media and we’ll continue the conversation there. See you back here next week for another installment of Baturday!
