So there you have it. The Joker War is pulling out all of the stops in the pages of Batman, the 144-page anthology for Detective Comics was DC’s best short story collection this year, Ellis and Hitch make us want The Batman’s Grave to be an ongoing series, Catwoman’s double-sized anniversary issue was fantastic, and Lex Luthor leads a Justice League we never knew we wanted into the Death Metal world.
