Baturday: Two shows and lots of great comics

Baturday

Welcome back, Batman fans!  It’s your favorite weekly Bat-themed Comic Booked column: Baturday!  There were quite a few goodies (and some people might argue not-so-goodies) out there this week in the world of Gotham City, so it’s my job to pick and choose what worked, what didn’t, and ask you for your opinions while I’m at it.  Here are my thoughts:

Gotham 2.3: “The Last Laugh” – My Rating: 5/5

Detective Comics #45 – My Rating: 5/5

Midnighter #5 – My Rating: 5/5

Green Arrow #45 – My Rating: 4/5

Green Arrow Ann. #2 – My Rating: 4/5

Arrow 4.1: “Green Arrow” – My Rating: 4/5

Batman and Robin Eternal #1 – My Rating: 5/5

Batkid Begins DVD – My Rating: 3/5

Bat-Mite #5 (of 6) – My Rating: 4/5

Batman Beyond #5 – My Rating: 3/5

…and my pick of the week is…  BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL!!!

There you go!  What did you think?  Still tuning into Gotham as religiously as you did for season one (and how about that Arrow season four premiere)?  Shocked and/or apalled at where they’re headed?  And speaking of shock: how about that new Detective Comics creative team or the new Batman weekly title?  And that Midnighter book that you should ALL be picking up every single month?  Let us know in the comments section below what your favorite release this week was and we’ll all see you back here bright (dark?) and early (late?) for another thrilling installment of Baturday!
