Ben Affleck to Reprise Batman Role in the Flash

Announced just days before DC Fandome, actor Ben Affleck is set to reprise his role as Batman/Bruce Wayne for one last time on the big screen in the upcoming Ezra Miller’s solo Flash movie.  Said to have a “significant role” in the film, Affleck will join Miller and Michael Keaton, another Batman, on the big screen for a surprise send-off that fans did not expect to get after the controversy surrounding Affleck and directors Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon on and off the Warner Bros. sets.  Director Andy (IT, IT Chapter Two) Muschietti told Variety that the role is “very fun” and will be a great way to close out Affleck’s Batman character arc, after portraying the Dark Knight in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League.

This casting has fans wondering, with Robert Pattinson taking over the cape and cowl and two other Batman running around, could Christian Bale be far behind?  Stay tuned for more updates as DC Fandome takes over the internet this weekend and the DC multiverse continues to grow in strange and exciting ways.
