Captain America: Civil War Trailer 2
The second Captain America: Civil War trailer has been released by Marvel Studios. It’s a golden year for genre fans, as six superhero films are to be released this year, and the first one out of the gate, Deadpool, was a big hit. No doubt that Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will also crush it, as it features the most iconic heroes ever will be allowed to mingle on screen for the first time. Now, the latest in Marvel’s never-ending franchise has finally dropped for the fans frothing at the mouth for this movie.
Well it’s here. In the opening moments, General Ross shows Captain America some of footage of destruction from the ;last few Marvel films that has gotten the public scared. Ross is, essentially, laying out for Cap, and, in the process, us, what Tony Stark’s position is: that the government has good reasons to keep superheroes in check. Of course we all know that Captain America is like a compass: his actions will always have his arrow pointing to what’s right.
Then we are bombarded with spectacular shots of superheroes in conflict. One notable shot has Scarlet Witch keeping Vision at bay with her powers, and that is appropriate, because she may be the only one who might be able to deal with someone as powerful as Vision. We also get to see Ant-Man riding one of Hawk-eye’s arrows, and Black Panther sprinting to catch up with the Winter Solder. Yet, the moment people were most interested to see came at the end, when Spider-Man shows up, taking sides with Tony.
