Spoilers Sweeties! 😉
Fresh out of the Future’s End Kara teams up with the Red Hood………….Jason Todd…………..to face off against alien gun runners.
As the issue opens Kara is dropping off the parents of her new………….boy friend? I completely forgot about Michael from issue #33!!!!!!
Also, did I miss something in ‘Red Hood & The Outlaws’? Jason is suddenly superhumanly strong & fast? He is also acting like a jerk pretending to kidnap Michael’s dog but that I expected. 😉
Basically the whole story is that Jason wants to stop the distribution of alien weapons & decides that he should look up Supergirl for help…………..since he was interested in seeing how good a team they would make after they met once in ‘Superman & Batman Annual #1’…………………..the whole story feels like filler actually. Nothing really happens.
The art work is nice………….like a less experienced Scott Kolins. Still felt a little bit like filler, but next month is are new writers & artist. This ish seems like it may have been a reworked stock story. 🙁
But I hope that the new team keeps Michael! & brings back Siobhan!!!!! (the Silver Banshee!) 🙂

My Rating: 2.5/5
it was a filler issue, but i was entertained by jason being a dick the entire issue. i’d give it a 3/5, but my comments are pretty similar to yours in terms of actual “review” language.
