DC’s Anti-Crisis is Coming…

Comic Booked News

A big announcement that has been hinted at for weeks was finally made today by both DC and Scott Snyder. Dark Nights: Death Metal is being marketed as DC’s first “Anti-Crisis,” which will be the culmination of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo’s nearly decade-long tenure as the company’s go-to leading creative team. The event is said to star Wonder Woman, with heavy support coming from the other two members of the Trinity, Superman and Batman. The event starts in May of this year and will have several one-shots and tie-in crossovers throughout the summer.

Snyder went on to say that the event’s rationale was more than just an epic finale to his recently concluded (on a cliffhanger) story in the pages of Justice League. Simply put, the writer said he and Capullo were teaming up one last time “Because we have one more party in us 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻 “
