Season 13 of Family Guy returns to Fox with all the insanity you have come to expect from the Griffin family. The thing that has most people buzzing involves the much anticipated cross-over episodes.
The cross-over is not the only thing happening this season, though. A show with the following that Family Guy posses couldn’t get through a season on that single crutch.
What kind of season would it be without some controversy? Stewie will become pregnant this season. With Brian’s baby. While you let that one sink in, Meg will become a foot fetish model. Peter will finally have his drunken bragging put to the test when Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland take him to the set of Liam Neeson’s new movie to prove once and for all who would win in a fight – drunk Peter or the star of Taken.
Not satisfied with that level of controversy, Family Guy will bring back Jesus. That’s right, the Christmas episode will center around a virgin that the guys try to help have sex for the first time. Jesus, a virgin and Christmas…yeah, Family Guy is pushing the envelope like never before.
What would Family Guy be without a cool movie tie-in? Look for Chris to go on a most excellent adventure later this season.
And then there’s that crossover. The Simpsons will meet the Griffins this year in an episode that is being described as “a Family Guy episode that pays respect to The Simpsons.” The episode is already causing waves just from the previews. That’s the episode that will kick it all off tonight.
