Fracture Asks You To Save A Superhero – And Some Guy Named Jeff

Fracture

Earlier in the month I ran a special feature on those classy gents from The Action Lab.

 Jeff

Today I return to you to dive further into their latest mad creation, the Comic known as Fracture.

 Jeff

Fracture, is an Ongoing Comic Mini-Series Written by Shawn Gabborin, Arted by Chad Cicconi, and Lettered and Colored by Dave Dwonch. The plot of this Comic centers around a guy named Jeff, who just happens to have stumbled upon the plot of the century. A Villain named Malice is going to kill a Hero named Virtue! Well, not if Jeff has anything to say about it!

Of course, as the plot unfolds it turns out that Jeff should have quite a bit to say about it as all three characters are in fact… Jeff.

Can Jeff save himself from himself? How do you accomplish a meeting of the minds when your mind is the mind in question? Can any of this possibly end well for Jeff’s social life?

If these are the sort of the questions you would like to see answered then it would seem that time is as essential to you as it is to poor Jeff.

The Action Lab’s Fracture Fundraiser on Kickstarter is finally drawing to a close here on January 14th of 2011. Currently they are just $960 from their target goal and if Fracture is a Comic/cause that you feel compelled to help support, the boys at The Action Lab have provided many ways for you to be involved.

First, there is always the minimum one dollar Kickstarter donation pool, which clearly comes from the kindness of your heart and as such comes with no other incentive.

However, like with all Kickstarter projects, the more you invest the higher the payoff.  Also, before you freak and run off into the darkness screaming about trickery and foul play like many of us would let me inform you about the most brilliant part of the Kickstarter setup before we go on.

All Kickstarter projects only accept your pledge if they reach their target goal. This means if Fracture fails, you don’t loose a single cent.

Best charity deal ever, right? Well wait, it gets better…

Now, for all of you working class college co-eds and teens who want to help but need to spend even that one dollar on Ramen Noodles for the next week, (so been there) relax for those clever boys at The Action Lab have a way that you can help too.

(I myself will be tossing my $10 into the pool come payday and spreading the Fracture Comic Love in the meantime, because I’m just Indie like that.)

 Jeff

So, if you think Jeff’s existence is one worth saving, please stop on by and help Kickstart it up again before time runs out on 01/14/11.

Otherwise, I’m just going to have write this article all over again someday, because we all know those daring boys at The Action Lab just don’t have it in them to give up. – N
