The 3rd Annual Indy Mad Max Run blazed through the streets of Indianapolis and past the Indiana Comic Con like a boss 30 April, 2016! Check out the guys and gals who came out to Get Bent Custom Cycles MMR start site and ruled the road for the Indy Mad Max Run.
Hard core, rain impervious apocalyptic bikers manned/womaned up and rallied despite icy wet rain, cold wind and the raincoat wearing, umbrella carrying, ‘why you riding today’ naysayers. These are my new heroes ’cause they did all that (respect) in great getups! Brutal conditions yet massive camaraderie and chops! Their post-apocalyptic clothes were creative, accurate and once rain soaked looked so accurate it was almost like a Fury Road 2 film location site crew.
Props and respect, weather was up one side and down the other awful but plans were laid and promises were made! These are the folks you want alongside when hard times, dark days and post-apocalypse life looms.
These troopers look tough (and ya, they are), but they would share the shirt off their back and Good Samaritan up if you needed them. I’ve been helped on the side of the road by bikers when Chevys, Hondas and Range Rovers all drove by.
(Bikers are also a part of volunteer groups that protect abused children (Bikers Against Child Abuse), accompany fallen soldiers to their resting ground (Patriot Guard Riders), and volunteer their time with many organizations, collect money and donate to excellent causes.)
