Indy Pop Con 2015
Indy Pop Con 2015 felt like what dreams are made of! Magical, adventure type dreams with Thor Tigers, Elves, Pokemon, Star Trek communicators going off and guest Podcasters to narrate it all.
Last year Indy Pop Con was nicely done – this year gaming space was expanded, more photographers were on hand and available for con-goers, costume contests rocked out with intense competition, vendors had more merch and seemingly better prices – and the cosplayers and costumers – whoa, everyone worked hard over the last year and brought their A-game!
Great photographers roamed the convention taking artsy candids and finding unique cosplays – among them UmoPhoto, Eddie B Photos, The Portrait Dude, Gabe Duval Media, Matthew Sperzel and so many other fantastically talented photographic artists. Not every convention has a cosplay site where photo shoots are announced and timed throughout the con – Indy Pop Con has a great face book site with up to date info on photoshoots and location. Keep this in mind for next year’s costume plans!!!
The ever popular Cosawesome booth (founder James Wulfgar) had photo ops available as well as some of the best props around for sale or commission – ((talent))!!!
Popular did not even begin to describe the Youtubers – their lines were long, uber popular and insane! Apparently last years Indy Pop Con’s attendance was around the number of people waiting in line to see the YouTubers – over 3k!! My, how you’ve grown, IPC!!! Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Knightmage and Tony Isabella (of Marvel and DC Comics fame) were just some of the major favorites at the show, entertaining everyone with their jokes, geek attitudes, cosplay and lovable charm!
This convention grew significantly since last year and predictions are next year will be even crazier! Get it on your schedule if you can, Indy is close!!
Cosplay Corner gives this con a 4.3 Scarlet Witch gloved thumbs up out of 5.
