Mr. March Cause-Player of the Month

untitled

After unveiling our first Cause-Playing Girl of the Month, we’re equally excited to bring you our first Cause-Player Guy of the Month!  Here’s Comic Booked’s Mr. March!

Picking one winner was hard.  We choose one lucky guy and one lucky girl.  Here is your Guy of the Month!  Big CONGRATULATIONS to Paul Poole!  Check him out below!

What is your full name and age?

Paul David Poole and I’m 34 years old.

What state do you reside in?

Pennsylvania.

What character are you cosplaying?

A Ghostbuster!

Why do you cosplay?

I and the other Philly Ghostbusters enjoy turning our hobby into something that can help so many people and causes.

What cause do you support and why?

We’ve supported many causes: Autism Speaks, MS Society, and several others and are currently raising donations for Great Strides For Cystic Fibrosis.  We’ve been around since 2009 supporting various causes. In 2010 we raised over $8,000.00 for several charities.  We also love donating our time to help out Healthy Kids Day at Philadelphia’s Childrens Hospital.

Where can fans and followers find you and your crew?

Our fans can find us all around Philadelphia in places like South Street, Olde City and Rittenhouse Square to name a few. The next convention we’ll be at will be Monster Mania Con in Cherry Hill, NJ. Our big appearance where we have a table and all of of our equipment and gear on display will be Wizard World Philadelphia.

Paul and his group support The Comic Book Shop in Wilminton Delaware, as well as Atomic City Comics in Philly.  Thanks so much for entering Paul and winning our first Guy Cause-Player of the Month by Cosplaying some awesomeness!  We are Huge Fans and will continue to follow you in the future.  Go add him and his crews’ page friends.

Check out the Philadelphia Ghostbusters Facebook page here and also check out their website here! Add Paul on Facebook!

Stay tuned for more Cosplayers for Cause-Play and take part in Connecting a Comic Booked World!

As always, keep your eyes where they should be – in a comic book! ~ Smiles, Brieanna
