SDCC – 2015 – ‘BEST EVER‘ Comic-Con!!!
2015 SDCC is over…. Comic-Con did nothing but exceed expects!! Star Wars new video after their intense Q&A panel? UPROXX talks panel line wait was insane!! Batman V Superman trailer? Where else would you see a marriage proposal at a panel with Nathan Fillian and Joss Whedon going crazy in the background? How about the SDCC debut of the unofficial Deadpool trailer? Controversy central! Can’t wait for three more weeks until the official Deadpool trailer comes out! Ryan Reynolds – boom! Comic-Con had everything you could ever imagine and more! It’s more than worth the horrible wait, the cost and the daily twister walking through massive networks of comic book lovers, cosplay aficionados and celeb fans! GOOOOO next year!
Conan was the SDCC talk show star –filming live all Comic-Con after hitting the road Mad Max style! Conan’s interview with Jennifer Lawrence and Hunger Games stars was amazing! Chris Hardwick (Nerdist) was fantastic while giving his Comic-Con citizenship quiz to Conan! Luv him, luv them, luv it all!!
There were massive autograph lines, bobble heads, costumes and cosplays everywhere – actually sounds like a geekly nerd heaven! Highest paid Funko Pop! was Conan’s special figure set released during SDCC’s 2015 con!
SDCC cosplay was uber strong and utterly incredible! Rotten Tomatoes has a great compilation of cosplays from SDCC – pretty incredible costumes! Popsugar has ‘around town’ 2015 cosplay bests, but SO many more that weren’t captured anywhere else – check them out!!! Entertainment Tonight laid out their best cosplays – brilliant works of creativity and art! Off site events were amazing, organized and non-pass required! Check out where non-pass events were held. Remember this list and make sure to link up for updates to next year’s off-site shenanigans!
Dynamite Comics, Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse and so many other comic companies, artists, colorists and writers were present signing autographs, talking to fans, speaking in panels and sharing in the excitement!
Great sites put together survival guides for Comic-Con, Buzzfeed was the best – How To Survive Comicon – tips for next year! Tons of panels were scheduled too! THE biggest con in California represented and did not disappoint! If you haven’t attended Comi-Con yet or been lucky enough to get a ticket online or via phone – try again next year – it’s absolutely worth it!
Special thanks to contributing photographer STVO from Chicago, IL and active member of We Are Cosplay costuming group. Love your unique style and great snaps of cosplay at SDCC Comi-Con 2015!
