FOUND:
One secret cosplay lair in remote location – rural Indiana. Individuals present at said lair were noted as multi-talented cosplayers and highly trained photographers and videographers – partners in their dedication to the art of cosplay handiwork and documentation of all activities occurring in said lair during the weekend of 27-29 March 2015. This was the Camp David of cosplay! The X-Files secret cabinet of costuming. Willy Wonka’s hidden glass elevator to cosplay heaven!
CODEWORD:
Project CosAwesome 2
MASTERMINDS:
It has been noted the lair’s masterminds are no other than infamous James Wulfgar and willing accomplices Kyra Wulfgar, (both from CosAwesome Studios), Cody Critchon, Morgan Black, Jenna Fairchild, Evelynne Bell and all the fantastic members of CosAwesome Studios. They plotted with SO many intensely dedicated individuals, including CosTacular Studios to bring the best cosplay and photographer hands, bodies and minds to one location for revelry, dancing, cosplay, documentary filming, photographic remembrances and camaraderie found among Indiana and surrounding area cosplayers – when placed together for a full weekend of fun, photog, video and revelry.
MASTERMIND ACCOMPLICES:
– CosTacular Studios provided event coordination and on site entertainment during the Weakest Link contest Friday night, DJ dancing, a Mario Cart area and tons of costumes for the Guardians of the Galaxy dance party on saturday night and throughout the weekend.
– Photographers and Videographers from practically every corner of the Indiana and local area cosplay scenes worked together to plan this event in order to document, review, post, modify and edit all needed pics. Last count tallied 16 amazingly talented, well known and up-and-coming photographers and videographers joining in this event for the cause and cosplay! (can sneak a peek at one cosplay documentary at www.WhyWeCosplay.com)
– Cosplayers – Arrived eager to show, share and shine in their latest and greatest costumes and cosplays. Invites to this hush-hush destination made it so much easier for the sharing of resources, abilities and knowledge of costumes, costume construction, photography and videography set ups, positioning and tips! So much amazing talent was shared to help others – lots of cosplay and photog/video love to go around!!!

Please, photographers, accept my apologies if I did not get yours in here, it was so difficult as they were all phenomenal! You are all amazing and such talented artists, thank you – thank you – thank you! If I made any errors, pls let me know and I’ll correct!
PS…… JUST ONE LAST NOTE: Corey Trotter was unable to edit any photos at the time of this article due to moving, find two shots he did from Project CosAwesome 1 last year. He’s totally incredible and his work is greatly missed in this article… See below some great work from last November, 2014 during PCA1.
