@Smallvillecon #cosplay by #cosplayer (s) showing their #bestcosplay (s)!!!
@SmallvilleCon held their 2nd #comic-con in Hutchinson, KS. Yup, #Kansas has so many Comic-cons – #amazing!!! Local support shown for the 2nd Annual Mayoral declaration was solid gold as decree changing #Hutchinson, KS to Smallville during the convention was produced!!! Way to go town hall!!!
Superman has been uber busy lately (some folks say he was spotted recently in Metropolis – that can neither be confirmed nor denied). It appears he flew over Smallville briefly to see his favorite #cosplayers working con floor magic – Danny and Heather Kelley , Iron Brothers of Topeka, Dennis Butt, AZ Powergirl and the fantastic group – KC Cosplay & Photography – among many… #bestcosplay team EVER!
Lee Merriwether, Billy Dee Williams, Katrina Law, Kathy Garver, Manu Intiraymi and Vernon Wells were just a few of the celebs at Smallville. Some fantastic artists and writers were in #artist alley – #Darryl Woods, Todd Aaron Smith, Alfred Trujillo, A.D. Trosper and Neo Edmund were among the huge group of amazing! Lots of love shown for these folks – nothing but love back! Good stuff!
Celebs were crazy interesting, cosplay was out of control and prices were low with great selection of comics, swag, costumes and practical pieces! Participation provided a perfect position to patrol for props (swords, gear, masks, chain mail, etc…)!!! Destination Smallville 2016 for sure if you live in the Midwest and don’t mind driving south of Kansas City/Topeka area! Great things planned for next year – con coordinators Jon and Heather Robinson want to top this years incredibly excellent, outstanding and amazing convention – looks like they’re gonna!
Shout out to Iron Brothers of Topeka, for all the incredible con cosplay photos – used below courtesy of the #IBOTks group! ((hugs)) @IBOTks is SO artistic in SO many ways – gotta love the Geek in them!!! (BTW – love the new Iron Spiderwoman! Hot stuff!!!)
Cosplay Corner ranks this a 3.989 out of 5 thumbs up for cosplay friendly events! Check it next year – it won’t disappoint! (costume contest is usually saturday afternoon, so plan for a full day)
