Welcome back, everyone! Just a quick reminder of what our goal for each and every Saturday is: Stirring the pot is the act of causing trouble for the sake of your own amusement. So we here at Comic Booked would like to formally invite you to discuss, debate, and start some shit talkin’ about the characters, the creators, and the storylines given to us from the industry we all know and love, hate, and love to hate. So let’s quit wasting time and start the mud (or web) slinging!
This Saturday’s question: Which comic creator do you miss the most?
Do you miss the awesome interior paintings of the legendary Alex Ross? What would you do to read an all new, all original graphic novel by the late and great Will Eisner? Does Joe Madureira’s announcement of coming out of retirement yet again to work on the new Savage Wolverine make you absolutely giddy inside? Will Michael Turner ever truly be replaced? Should Frank Miller get back into writing and/or drawing monthly superhero comic books? And what ever happened to the soap operatic scripting of Devin Grayson? Is there anyone else you’d like to beg to return to the medium? Or are you still anxiously awaiting the arrival of the next big name in comics?
So go forth and debate! But be sure to back up your responses. Don’t be scared. And don’t give up. After all, no one likes a quitter. And you’re not a quitter, are you?
I personally miss Michael Turner's artwork.
