Welcome back, everyone! Just a quick reminder of what our goal for each and every Saturday is: Stirring the pot is the act of causing trouble for the sake of your own amusement. So we here at Comic Booked would like to formally invite you to discuss, debate, and start some shit talkin’ about the characters, the creators, and the storylines given to us from the industry we all know and love, hate, and love to hate. So let’s quit wasting time and start the mud (or web) slinging!
Oh. Yeah. Before I forget: Thanks for your participation. See you all again next year!
This Saturday’s question: Which “top comics moment (or moments)” of 2013 were the worst?
Was it the death of Damian Wayne in the pages of Batman Incorporated? The return of the 1990s “fancy cover” gimmick both at Marvel and DC? How about the “controversial” third acts of Man of Steel or Iron Man 3? Still confused (or irritated) by the ending of Age of Ultron? Or something else that totally made you want to give up collecting comics entirely?
So go forth and debate! But be sure to back up your responses. Don’t be scared. And don’t give up. After all, no one likes a quitter. And you’re not a quitter, are you?
Easily Damien. Kill off any major character you want, I will never be hyped again.
for those who are interested, this discussion will be furthered in the next few days when we present our entire staff’s picks for “worst of 2013,” in much greater detail! keep your eyes open for some good ol’ fashioned shit-talkin’!
For me the best and worst news were announcements for upcoming books.
Best: Dan Slott and Michael Allred on The Silver Surfer in 2014
Worst: Fables #10- The Final Issue in 2015
