Happy SuperSunday, Superman fans! It’s a great time to be a Superman reader and viewer. TV is littered with superhero shows and the Superman comics are about as great as they have ever been. There’s actually not a single bad Superman family comic on the stands right now, which is amazing, to say the least. Here are my thoughts on this week’s releases:
Earth 2: Society #21 – My Rating: 4/5
Justice League of America: Rebirth #1 (One-Shot) – My Rating: 5/5
Action Comics #973 – My Rating: 5/5
New Super-Man #8 – My Rating: 5/5
Supergirl #6 – My Rating: 5/5
Superwoman #7 – My Rating: 5/5
Justice League / Power Rangers #2 (of 6) – My Rating: 3/5
Supergirl 2.11: “The Martian Chronicles” – My Rating: 4/5
Powerless 1.2: “Wayne Dream Team” – My Rating: 4/5
Justice League Dark DVD – My Rating: 5/5
…and my pick of the week is… SUPERWOMAN!!!
So there it is. Superwoman and Supergirl were neck-and-neck for pick of the week for me, and the Rebirth issue of Justice League of America was a (cough cough) super fun read. Then there’s New Super-Man (which is really great) and that Justice League Dark animated movie, which was essentially Constantine season two. But those are just my thoughts. I want to know all about yours! Let us know in the comments or on social media and we’ll chat it up about all things Superman. See you next weekend for a brand new installment of everyone’s favorite Man of Steel column, SuperSunday!
