Happy SuperSunday, Superman fans! We had a bigger week in terms of comics, but a great week for news, straight-to-DVD animated movies, and TV shows as well. What did you think? Here are my thoughts on this week’s Superman-related releases:
Batman/Superman #31 – My Rating: 5/5
DC Comics Bombshells #11 – My Rating: 4/5
Earth 2: Society #11 – My Rating: 3/5
Supergirl 1.19: “Myriad” – My Rating: 4.5/5
Justice League VS Teen Titans DVD – My Rating: 4.5/5
…and my pick of the week is… BATMAN/SUPERMAN!!!
There you have it. The Batman/Superman title (just like the other ones written by Peter J. Tomasi) are hinting that the New 52 Superman’s condition is, in fact, terminal. Will they kill the new Man of Steel? Paving the road for the return of the pre-Flashpoint Superman never seemed so easy. And with great writing (not to mention Doug Mahnke’s fantastic artwork), we might actually care if they kill him off. Can’t wait to see what they try to pull next.
