This Saturday’s question: Are comics still for kids?
This is quite possibly the hot button issue of the last three decades. It’s very polarizing. And can end friendships… Not to mention businesses.
So go forth and debate! But be sure to back up your responses. Don’t be scared. And don’t give up. After all, no one likes a quitter. And you’re not a quitter, are you?
There are still comics for kids, but no, in general the industry is no longer aimed at kids, and hasn't been for a long time. Even looking far far back into the hobby I see a majority of material that really isn't suited for children at all, and let's face it, to have a real super hero you need to have people in extreme peril.
